This week's photo shows Ballinacourty captain, Joe Power being carried shoulder-high from the Fraher Field pitch at the end of the 1978 County Senior Football Final. Just minutes earlier the team had secured its first ever County Senior title with a hard fought 0-13 to 2-4 win over Clashmore. Delighted supporters rush onto the field to congratulate the players following this historic victory.
