Club Notes - 24th January

Jack The Joker
Our ever popular Jack the Joker fundraiser continues this Sunday night in Alice O’Connors Bar where the jackpot is €7200 as on Sunday night Fr. Cooney was drawn out of the drum and chose card number 12 which when turned was not the joker but he did win €50. Bernice Keane and Edel Keane won €25 each. As well as our group of ticket sellers tickets can be purchased from Village Flowers, Spar, Mousies Takeaway, Minnies Bar, Abbeyside Post Office and Crotty’s Bar.

Membership
Please note membership fees are now due for 2018 and can be paid to Pat Keane or Kevin Tobin.  Kevin will be in the clubhouse this Saturday from 2pm to 3pm to take membership from anybody who wishes to pay him.

Heading to the Middle East
On behalf of all in the club we would like to wish our own Timmy Organ the very best of luck as he heads off to Al Ain this week to referee a series of games in the latest round in of the Middle Eastern GAA Games. This is a deserved reward for one of the busiest referees in the division and we hope Timmy and Sean Kiely enjoy their visit to the Emirates!!

Booking of pitches
As our teams begin returning to training we would like to remind all our coaches to please ensure that they book the pitches with Michael O’Donovan before training.

Club Bingo
Our club bingo session continues in the CBS Hall this Sunday night with a jackpot of €1500.
