The 2024 Deise Draw starts in just over 3 weeks time with some fantastic cash prizes on offer.  For many years the Deise Draw has been one of our main sources of income, so we appeal to all our members to support the draw.  Tickets are available from any committee member.

Academy Update
Our boys academy runs every Saturday morning from 10am at our club grounds (X35 E896).  If you have a boy between the age of 5 and 10 bring them along to join in on the fun.  The field was busy again on Saturday morning with coaching sessions and matches.

U10
After all the wind and rain on Thursday morning (13th June) the evening turned out to be very suitable for a game of football and our U10's made the most of it.  They welcomed Na Gaeil and Clashmore/Kinsalebeg as part of the Deise Óg U10 football series.  It was a really enjoyable evening's football for all the children that took part.

U11
On Saturday morning (15th June) Kinsale were the visitors to the field to play hurling against our U11 boys.  Kinsale were similar in numbers to us so we lined out three teams with each of the 25 boys getting a good hour's hurling. It was an excellent run out for the Village boys and the refreshments (kindly provided by our enthusiastic parent group) were well deserved.  We'll look forward to making the return journey.

U12
Our U12s had a busy week. On Tuesday (11th June) they hosted Killeagh in a challenge match that was a fantastic test for both teams.  This match set the lads up for another tough encounter against St Pats on Friday evening (14th June).  The trip to Colligan saw both teams put on an entertaining display of hurling for those that travelled.  The boys battled until the final whistle and showed great maturity to see out the game.

U14
Our U14's bowed out of the U14 division 1 championship last Monday (10th June) in the semi final stage.  The boys lost out to Lismore on a scoreline of 3:12 to 3:08.  They struggled to get going in the first half but came roaring back into the game in the second period with a very strong performance.  It really was in the mix in the last five minutes as they closed the gap to two points but Lismore did enough to clinch it.  Best of luck to Lismore in the county final.
