Club Notes - 20th November

Jack The Joker
No. Drawn - 17
Our popular Jack the Joker Fundraiser will continue this Sunday night in Kennedy’s Live where the Jackpot will be €6,296 as on Sunday night Tommy Reynolds was drawn out of the drum and picked card 17 but did not find the Joker, yet he did win €50. Mike Daly and Jack O’Hare won €25 each.

Senior Football
On Sunday last we made the long trip to Ennis for the semi final of the Munster Club Championship to take on Cratloe of Clare. At the end of competitive and fast paced game we were unfortunately defeated by two points. However the team gave a great account of themselves on the day and they can be proud not just of their performance on Sunday, but of their performances all year.

TEAM: S. ENRIGHT, D. COLLINS, S. O’HARE, B. LOOBY, C. MOLONEY, S. BRIGGS, R. FOLEY, J. HURNEY, G. HURNEY, M. FERNCOMBE, M. FIVES, J. O’MAHONY, M. O’HALLLORAN, J. O’BRIEN, P. HURNEY.
SUBS: S. O’DONOVAN, J. POWER.

We would like to thank all our supporters who made the journey to Ennis on Sunday to cheer on the team, and our members who travelled on the supporters bus would like to thank Eurospar, Nugent’s Centra and Kennedys Live for providing refreshments for the bus.

Club Training Tops
We are currently taking orders for our Club Training Jersey which would make an ideal Christmas present for our supporters both young and old. The jersey can be personalised by printing your name or your child’s name on the back and they are available in a wide variety of sizes. Orders must be made by November 29th and forms are available from juvenile coaches and are also available from James O’Mahoney, Mark Fives, Michael O’Halloran, Stephen Enright, Mark Ferncombe and Neil Moore. They can also be downloaded from the club website.

Club Bingo
This Sunday our Club Bingo continues in the CBS Hall where the jackpot is €500.

AGM
The club's AGM will take place on Friday, 6th December at 8:00pm in Ballinroad Hall.

Sympathy
On behalf of all in the club we would like to extend our sympathies to the family and many friends of the late Fr. Tim O’Riordan who passed away last week. Fr. Tim was one of our club Vice Presidents and had been Parish Priest of the parish for a number of years. A native of County Kerry he took a keen interest in our games and would regularly wish us luck from the altar on Sunday mornings before big matches. Once again we send our sympathies to all his family and friends.
