Congratulations to our Junior 'A' hurlers and management team on their extra time victory over Ardmore in the Western Final played in Fraher Field this afternoon. We led by a single point at half time, scoring a late equaliser in the second to bring the match to extra time, 0-17 to 1-14. The lads kicked on in the additional twenty minutes to run out deserved winners by four points, 1-22 to 1-18. This is our seventh divisional title at this grade, having last won the competition in 2013 when it comprised intermediate attached teams. We will play the winners of the Eastern Final (Mount Sion or De La Salle) in the county decider next weekend.
