Western U21 'A' Hurling Champions

Congratulations to our U21 hurlers and management team on their hard fought extra time victory over Cois Bhride in the Western Final played at Fraher Field this afternoon. After sixty minutes of tough hurling the sides finished level, 0-18 apiece. Goals from Neil Montgomery and Michael Kiely in extra time secured a 2-23 to 0-21 win and in the process our third Western 'A' title in a row, the first time the club has achieved this feat. Well done to all concerned. The County Final will take place in the coming weeks.
