Club Notes - 3rd February

AGM
A reminder that our AGM be held online via Microsoft Teams on Friday 05th February at 7.30pm.
Any member wishing to attend will need to email the Chairman or Secretary to register in advance. 
 
National Draw
Word came from Croke Park during the week that this draw has been postponed until May at the earliest. Tickets continue to be available from any committee member. Please if you can purchase a ticket as 100% of the funds earned will go to the club.
 
Jack The Joker
The ever-popular Jack The Joker draw took place on Monday night last. Patricia Sweeney was drawn and picked number 19. When turned this was not the The Joker, but she did win €50. Frank Sweeney and Laura, Kieran & Darragh won €25 each. The jackpot next week will be €2,200.
 
Sympathy
On behalf of everyone in the club we would like to extend our sympathies to the Kiely and Conway families who suffered bereavements recently. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
 
Online Bingo
We are delighted to launch our weekly All-Star Online Bingo hosted by Abbeyside Ballinacourty GAA Club.
 
Our 9 Game Bingo will commence on Saturday 6th February 2021 on the ZOOM platform with a GUARANTEED PRIZE FUND for week 1 of €1850!!
 
Books are available to purchase through the following link and cost €12 for a Single and €18 for a Double Book.

Books will be emailed to those who purchase for Week 1 after 2pm on Saturday 6th February.

Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
