County
Leagues
The county leagues continue with hurling now taking
over. Unfortunately our Senior game against De La Salle fell victim to the
weather last Thursday, whilst the Junior lost out by 1 point to Clonea last
Sunday.
The action continues this weekend with games against
Passage and Ballydurn respectively.

Juvenile Update
The story for the past few weeks has been mainly
about finding slots between the bouts of rain so that our underage boys can
play matches or have a coaching session. It has been difficult, but our coaches
have been getting creative with the scheduling and the use of the space on the
astroturf. Hopefully the weather will improve soon so we can get back to
normal!
Academy
We had to call off our academy last Saturday due
to the orange weather warning but we should be back in action next Saturday. If
you have a boy between the ages of 5 and 10 come out any Saturday morning to
join in the fun.
Our U10 footballers found a gap in the rain and
welcomed Youghal on Sunday morning to play a series of football matches. While
the conditions weren't ideal, the boys relished the opportunity to play a
"proper" match. They had great fun and competed very well with the
boys from across the border. The next training session for the U10's is on
Wednesday and they're looking forward to the county league starting soon.

U11
The first round of the U11 football leagues,
which was supposed to be played on Monday, fell victim to the rain but the boys
will have their fingers crossed that the weather will be in their favour on
Friday, as they hope to entertain Clonmel Commercials in the Burgery.
U13
Our U13 footballers played out a dramatic draw
against Stradbally on Wednesday (3rd April). It was a game of two halves with
the Ballinacourty boys getting off to a very strong start, only to be clawed
back by the hosts in the second half.
U15
The U15 division 1 team were supposed to play an
away fixture against Gaultier but the match took place in the Burgery as the
Gaultier pitch was unplayable. A strong start saw Ballinacourty take an
early lead due to some very well taken points but a couple of quick goals for
the visitors brought them back into the game. In the end Gaultier took
the victory but our boys will build on this through the season and will no
doubt be in the mix in the knockout stages.
Bingo
Our regular Sunday night Bingo continues every week in
the CBS Hall. Eyes down at 8.00pm.
