Well Kids!
The "Well Kids!" programme is an initiative driven by Déise Óg where children of four years old can begin to experience our games in a fun and accessible way through a variety of games and activities. It's a fantastic way to introduce your child to team activities and exercise and a safe and fun environment. Call out any Saturday morning at 10:30am and there's no need to bring any equipment, everything will be provided.

U10
It has been an unbelievably busy week for our U10 hurlers. On Monday (15th July) they played a Cappoquin and the Brickeys in Cappoquin. Thursday (18th July) saw them host Clan na Gael and St. Pats in the Burgery and on Saturday (20th July) they embarked on a mighty day out!  They piled onto the bus in Coolagh at 11:30 and headed across the border into Kilkenny. They played a really well organised blitz hosted by James Stephens, with Mooncoin also taking part. Even though a lot of the panel are away on holidays etc we were still able to field two teams and competed really well with our Kilkenny counterparts. It was lovely to see the skills from all the boys as well as the spirit in which the games were played.
James Stephens laid on a fantastic spread of refreshments afterwards which was really appreciated by everyone.
The boys didn't hang around too long though because next on the itinerary (after a quick pit stop in McDonalds) was Walsh Park to support our seniors in the first round of the championship. Big thanks to Joe Cleary who kept a steady pace on the bus and ensured we were on schedule.
The young Village boys sang and chanted all the way to Keane's Road and took up a good vantage point in the stand to cheer on their clubmates against Ferrybank. It was lovely to see all the blue and gold jerseys invade the pitch at half time for a puck around and a convincing win for the seniors capped off a fantastic day of hurling, friendship and fun. The boys were a credit to the club throughout the day and are looking forward to continuing their hurling throughout the summer. They play Dungarvan and St Pats this coming Saturday. Keep it going boys!

U13
After a three week break since their last championship match, Monday evening (22nd July) sees our U13 hurlers hoping to continue their 100% record in the championship against De la Salle in Gracedieu. Best of luck lads.

U15
The U15 hurlers had a good win against De La Salle at home on Monday (15th July). It wasn't an easy encounter but the boys were in control throughout and won with a scoreline of 1-11 v 0-9. Next up is another home fixture against Clan na Gael on Monday 29th July so please come out and support the boys.
