U15 Medal Presentation
On Saturday evening our 2024 U15 footballers were presented with their medals for winning the Division 1 County championship.
Thanks to our senior player Willie Beresford for taking the time to present the medals to the boys.  Thanks also to the parents who helped with refreshments and to the team in Minnie's for providing the hot food.
It was a lovely occasion, held in the clubhouse of the Causeway Tennis Club.  After the presentation the boys stayed on to watch the Dublin v Kerry match in the hope of getting their heads around the be football rules for 2025!
Well done boys and best of luck for the U16 championship in 2025!

Preparing for the 2025 Season
On Tuesday 10th February we held a very well attended workshop aimed at helping our coaches to understand the new FRC football rules.  Thanks to county GDC's Gavin Whelan and James Lacey for facilitating what was a very interesting session.  They took us through each of the new rules and how they might impact games.  There were plenty of questions from the floor and some interesting discussions about how we'll need to adapt.  Whatever we think about the new rules, we'll all just have to get on with them - it will be a learning process for everyone!
