This week's photo shows the Abbeyside Senior Hurling team that defeated De La Salle, 0-12 to 1-5, in the first round of the County Championship at Fraher Field in July. In the next round, played a full three months later, the Village lads were heavily beaten by a Ballygunner side that would go on to win the county title that year.
