Our ever popular Jack the Joker fundraiser continues
this Sunday night in Minnies Bar where the jackpot is €4800 as on Sunday night
Ciara Clancy was drawn out of the drum and chose card number 9 which when
turned wasn’t the joker but she did win €50. The Walsh family and Paudie Kiely
won €25 each.
Senior Hurling
On Saturday night last we defeated Tallow in the
quarter finals of the County Championship in Fraher Field. This was a very
encouraging performance from the team and we now meet De La Salle in the semi
finals on the weekend of September 22nd / 23rd.

Junior Hurling
Our Junior hurlers exited the championship on Sunday
afternoon last as we were defeated by Tourin in a very hard fought game.
Unfortunately at the full time whistle there was only a point between the sides
after we had led for most of the match. We would like to thank the players for
their efforts and commitment throughout the year and wish Tourin the best of
luck for the rest of the Championship.
