Club Notes - 11th December

Player of the Year Nominations
Congratulations to Brian Looby who has been nominated for the Adult Footballer of the Year and to Colin Foley for his nomination as Young Footballer of the Year. This is well deserved recognition for the efforts put in by the lads and their teammates over the course of 2019, a year where we contested both the Senior and Minor County Finals and were victorious in the U19 grade.
The winners will be announced at the Local Bar Waterford GAA Awards evening on Friday, 10th January in Lawlors Hotel. We wish both Brian and Colin the best of luck on the night.

Jack the Joker
Our ever-popular Jack the Joker fundraiser continues this Sunday night in Minnie’s Bar where the jackpot is €3600 as on Sunday night Colette Veale was drawn out of the drum and chose card number 25 which when turned over was not the joker, but she did win €50. Louise & Kevin and Fiona Flynn won €25 each.

Club Bingo
Our club bingo continues in the CBS Hall this Sunday night where the jackpot is €700.

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.

Strategic Plan
Past generations have had their visions for the future of our club. These are our current aims and with these achieved we hope to hand on the club to future generations in the same healthy state it was passed onto us.
