On behalf of all in the club, we would like to express our deepest sympathies to the family and many friends of the late Jimmy O'Leary, Murphy Place who died suddenly last night. Jimmy's involvement with our club goes back decades and indeed continued right up to this week when he was out in Ballinroad with our seniors as they continued preparations for another championship season. He took not greater delight than in seeing all club teams in either the blue and gold or green and white achieve success on the playing fields of Waterford and beyond. He gave so much to Abbeyside / Ballinacourty but also always acknowledged what the club gave to him. The first to arrive at training and the last to leave, Jimmy's contribution to our club was nothing short of immense. From filling water bottles to organising jerseys, from turning on lights to locking gates, training and match days will never be the same again. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve.
