Fitzgibbon Cup
What a week Mikey Kiely is having as he struck a goal deep in injury time today to win the Fitzgibbon cup for University of Limerick, following his heroics on Thursday night!! On behalf of all in the club well done to Mikey and also to Mark Twomey who was on the UL panel...two Fitzgibbon Cup medal winners for our club.

Academy 2022
The end of February always marks a key time in the club calendar because it's when our juvenile academy starts up. This means that Saturday mornings at the field will be full of fun and games for our youngest hurlers and footballers.
The 2022 academy starts on Saturday 26th February, and we cater for boys aged from 5 to 10 who would like to get active and build friendships in a safe, inclusive, team environment.
The start times are as follows: U8, U9 & U10 start at 10:00AM and U5, U6 & U7 start at 10:30AM.
The year kicks off with football so make sure the boys have their gumshields.
Newcomers of all ages are always welcome throughout the season so be sure to come out and sample the fun and there'll be a cup of tea for parents.
If you have any questions, you can email abbeycourtyjuvenilesec@gmail.com or contact us through the club Facebook page.

Bingo
Sunday Night Bingo continues continue every Sunday at 8pm.

Intercounty
The Waterford Senior footballers, with our own Brian Looby and Aaron Beresford on board, continued their league campaign when they travelled to Carlow last Saturday, where unfortunately they came up short on the night.
The hurlers meanwhile are in action versus Antrim this Sunday in Belfast at 13.00.

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
