Club Notes - 30th November

 
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of CLG Dún na Mainistreach / Baile na Cúirte will be held in St. Laurence's Hall, Ballinroad on Friday, 2nd December 2022 commencing at 7:30pm sharp. All members are invited to attend.

Club Lotto

U20 Football
The U20 footballers played Gaultier last Sunday in the Division 1 County Final. After a close game we unfortunately were beaten on a scoreline if 0-10 – 0-08. Hard luck to all involved and the focus now switches to the upcoming hurling championship.
 
Senior Football Reunion
On Saturday evening we had a very enjoyable evening in The Gold Coast, where a reunion was held for the group of players who won our 1st Senior football titles in 1978, 1979 and 1981. Preceding the dinner there was a mass for those involved who unfortunately are no longer with. A good time was had by all, with old friends catching up and many old stories shared.
We’d like to thanks Brendan O Brien and his committee who put a lot of work into organising the night.
 
Bingo
Please note that this week our regular Sunday Night Bingo continues in the CBS Hall. Eyes down at the usual time of 8pm.

Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
