We ask all our supporters to please support the Win a House in Waterford draw, which is ongoing at present.  Along with our Camogie and Ladies Football clubs, we are seeking to raise enough money through this draw to build toilets and dugout on our new pitch.  As well as having a chance to win a fantastic prize you will be helping us provide better facilities for all our members.
Tickets are available from any club committee member or online at www.winahoiseinwaterford.com.  If purchasing online, please remember to use the drop-down menu to select Abbeyside Ballinacourty as your club.

Academy Update
Our academy, for boys aged between 5 and 10, continues every Saturday morning from 10am. There's no better way for children to learn the skills of our games, build friendships, and have fun, so come out any Saturday morning and you'll receive a warm welcome.

U7
Well done to our mighty U7's who made the most of the sunshine on Saturday morning as they took part in a hurling blitz in Bushy Park. They had a great time and played some fine hurling! Well done boys!

U11
Midleton travelled to the Burgery on Saturday morning to play hurling against our U11's. The field is in prime condition thanks to the weather and the crew that maintain it so well, this meant that the boys were able to play fantastic hurling, both on the ground and in the air. Well done all. The lads switch to football this week in the Déise Óg programme. Half of the group will be travelling to Lismore on Monday while the other half head in the opposite direction to Carrickbeg to play Molleran's.

U14
Both of our U14 football teams continued their championship last Wednesday evening. The division 1 boys played really well and beat Gaultier in the Burgery while the division 5A boys also played well but lost out to Ballyduff Upper. Monday (19th May) sees the division 1 team take on Lismore (away) and the division 5A team host St. Olivers. Good luck lads.

County Duty
Well done to Colm Kiely and Waterford U16 football team mates on making it two wins from two in their championship (the O'Donovan Cup). They had a comprehensive victory over Kilkenny at the weekend with Colm lining out at corner back. We also had a number of boys in action with the U14 county football panels on Saturday in Carlow.

Sponsorship Announcement
We in the club are very grateful to Michael Morrissey of Riverside Veterinary Hospital for the very generous sponsorship of two sets of Ballinacourty jerseys. They look fantastic and will be worn with pride by our young footballers into the future. This is a great example of supporting children’s sport in our community and it's truly appreciated. We ask that you support Riverside and go to them in Kilrush with all your pet and vet needs!
