Club Notes - 4th July

Joker Fundraiser
Our popular Jack the Joker Fundraiser will continue this Sunday night in The Stables Bar where the Jackpot will be €9,624. This week Sean Og Mansfield was drawn out of the drum but did not find the joker but did win €50 while Alice Shanley and Louise O’Donnell won €25. We appeal to all our supporters to continue purchasing the tickets as the funds raised will go towards our ongoing development works at the club grounds.

Bon Voyage
On behalf of all in the club we would like to wish Michael O’Halloran the very best of luck as he heads off to the USA to take up employment. Michael was captain of our under 21 football team this year that won the County title and was on both Senior Hurling and Football teams, and will be greatly missed off the adult club teams for the remainder of the season.

Deise Development Draw
The June Deise Draw took place on Friday night last and we had one winner on the night as John O’Flynn won €250.

Club Bingo
Our club bingo will continue in the CBS Hall this Sunday night where the Jackpot is €1000.

Booking of Pitches
We would like to ask all team managers to please ensure that they have booked the pitch with Bernard Shields before they arrange training sessions.

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
