Juvenile Notes - 4th July


Membership Forms
Membership forms and Code of Conduct forms for most age groups have been given out Coaches are asked for their assistance in getting this done in an orderly and efficient manner and parents/guardians and players are asked to sign, complete and return as soon as possible.
Many thanks to all of those who have already completed and returned their forms, your prompt co-operation is much appreciated.

Kelloggs GAA Cul Camps
A special promotion token is available of €5 on Cornflakes and Rice Krispies boxes to receive an online discount; 1 token per child can be used.  The annual camp takes place in our club from the 2nd of July to the 6th this year more details can be got from Carmel on 0872598923.

Under 7
The Abbeyside/Ballinacourty U-7 team recently played Fourmilewater/Nire in Abbeyside with the return leg played in the Nire on July the 7th. The teams were divided into 2 groups who each played a hurling and football game.
The squad that was involved for both games was as follows.
Sean Walsh, Jack O’Donovan, Darragh Cosgrave, Kieran Cosgrave, Darragh Walsh, Sean Queally, Jake O'Donnell, Cormac Fitzgerald Dunne, Billy O'Connell, Brian O'Callaghan, Fionn O'Murchu, David Horgan, Jake Fitzgerald Drummy, Tadhg Brazil, Ethan Keohan, Conor Gough, Jamie Mulcahy, Dylan O'Riordan, Cormac Slevin, Rory O'Brien, John Power, Tadhg Foley, Cormac Sweeney, Daniel Morrissey, Mark Finnegan.
Thanks to all of the parents who provided refreshments.
Also, training for the U-7 is cancelled on July 7th. Teamers have been sent.

Annual Flag Day
Our annual flag day takes place over Saturday and Sunday 7th and 8th of July. All boys in the under 12, 14 and 16 age groups have been given notes as of yet the response back has been slow. Boys are needed for morning and evening slots on Saturday. Please contact Carmel on 0872598923 as soon as possible.
Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
