U16
Our under 16 hurling championship came to a conclusion on Monday of last week against De La Salle in Abbeyside. Even though ultimately defeat was our lot our boys showed fantastic spirit and energy throughout this championship. We now look forward to the western hurling championship as well as the county football championship. A big thank you must go to the players and selectors involved with this group and it must be said that the turn out to training was very high indeed.

U14
Our under 14 hurling team played the western semi final of the Feile hurling tournament against Lismore on Wednesday of last week. We played well in this game and came away with a deserved victory. They now go on to play the Western final of this completion tonight (Wednesday 1st May) against Dungarvan at Bushy Park.

U10
Our under 10 team travelled to Carriganore on Saturday last to take part in a blitz. This was a very successful day and all the kids who took part really enjoyed themselves.

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
