Camogie Notes - 20th April

U14
On Tuesday evening last our U14s played their first championship game of 2016. This was a very competitive game with plenty skill on show, the girls got off to a very good start with their first score coming from Moya Kiley. Ring, being a very strong side, were the winners on the night.

U16
This Tuesday evening it’s back to U16 against Portlaw. This was to be an away fixture but due to Portlaw’s pitch being unplayable, Abbeyside will host throw in for this game is 6:45pm. This is the last game for U16 until after the Junior Cert.

U12
Our U12s will travel to Ring on Saturday, 30th April to take part in their blitz.

Training
Training will take place as always for U6 to U12s every Friday evening from 6.00 to 7.00pm. New members are always welcome.

Membership
Membership is now overdue and we would ask that all membership forms are returned asap.

Confirmation
Congratulations to all our members who received the sacrament of confirmation over the weekend.


Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
