This week's photo comes from 1974 and shows the Abbeyside team that captured the Western U16 Football title following a 1-9 to 0-5 victory over Stradbally at Fraher Field. In the rain and mud of Walsh Park, the lads went down, 2-4 to 0-4, against De La Salle in the County Final.
