Jack the Joker
Our ever popular Jack the Joker fundraiser continues this Sunday night
in Minnie’s Bar where the jackpot is €2600 as on Monday night Jack Curran was
drawn out of the drum and chose card number 21 which when turned was not the
joker, but he did win €50. Jack O’Donovan and Noel Enright won €25 each.
Junior Hurling
Pride of place this week has to go to our Junior hurlers who captured
the County title on Sunday last with a thrilling win over Naomh Pól in Walsh
Park. Having built up a healthy lead in
the first half there were some nervous moments in the second half before they
emerged victorious on a scoreline of 1-14 to 2-8.
After the game Nicky Dee accepted the cup on behalf of the team, where
he dedicated the win to Mick Collins. We
congratulate the panel and management team on this great win and look forward
to stepping up to Junior B in 2020.

Our club AGM will take place on November 29th in Abbeyside
School Hall at 8:00pm.
