Club Notes - 24th March

 
Jack The Joker
The ever-popular Jack The Joker draw took place on Monday night last. Jonathan O Donovan was drawn and picked number 49. When turned this was not the Joker, but he did win €50. Donal Looby and David Collins won €25 each. The jackpot next week will be €2,900.
 
All Star Bingo
Following on from our recent St. Patrick’s Bingo Bonanza and the very positive feedback received afterwards we are delighted to announce that we will play for €3,000 again this weekend in our Abbeyside Ballinacourty Big Bingo.
 
Our 9 game Bingo will consist of 4 €180 games, 2 €260 games, 1 €400 game with an extra €300 in 49 calls and 2 €680 games! There will also be spot prizes sponsored by local businesses at various stages of the night. This promises to an extra special Bingo night and we hope that everybody will be able to join us. 
 
Books are available to purchase through the following link and cost €15 for a Single and €20 for a Double Book. bit.ly/abbeysidebingo . Due to the amount of books already ordered, people are encouraged to order their books as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Books will be emailed to those who purchase after 2pm on Saturday.
 
Congratulations to Geraldine Fisher who was the lucky winner of a Voucher for Village Flowers, kindly sponsored by Coralie Sheehan and to Elaine Shanahan who won €250 for a Full House in Game 7.

Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
