Club Notes - 2nd June

As we return, we would like to emphasis the importance of getting your membership paid as soon as possible. If you have not already done so, please contact our membership officer Kevin Tobin on 087 9954448 to arrange payment. From a playing perspective it is compulsory that you are a member as it ensures you are included in the insurance scheme. Rates for this year are Adult €150 / Student €75, Married Couple (non-playing) €70, Single (non-playing) €50 and OAP €40. Of course, members of our 300 Club are fully covered.
Kevin will be in the club grounds this coming Saturday between 10.00 and 11.30 to collect membership.

The Waterford Senior hurlers continue their league campaign on Sunday next when they travel to take on Galway. We wish all involved the very best of luck and in particular our own lads, Conor, Neil and Michael.
On behalf of al in the club we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Clarke family on the death of Bonny. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
Jack The Joker
The ever-popular Jack The Joker draw took place on Monday night last. Elaine Smyth was drawn and picked number 11. When turned this was not the Joker, but she did win €50. Kevin Shields and The 6 Grandkids won €25 each. The jackpot next week will be €3,900.
All Star Bingo
Our online bingo continued last Saturday night when a large number of players were online. On the night there was €2,300 up for grabs. We will be taking a break now for a while as the long summer evenings kick in, but we do hope to run a few special events in the coming months so please watch this space. We are extremely grateful to each and every one of the players who have supported us over the past 16 weeks and hope to see you all again when we return.
Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse
Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
Strategic Plan
Past generations have had their visions for the future of our club. These are our current aims and with these achieved we hope to hand on the club to future generations in the same healthy state it was passed onto us.
