Juvenile Update
Our U6, U7 and U10 boys were on the road last weekend with the U8’s and U9’s keeping the home fires burning at the field where they enjoyed.  The U6 & U7 boys headed for An Rinn last Saturday where they played a really enjoyable hurling blitz in Páirc Uí Siothcáin.  Great fun was had by all and the boys hurled with great flair and energy.  The goodie bags afterwards were very well received as well as the tea and coffee for the coaches and parents.  We look forward to returning the favour!

U6s & U7s in Ring

U9
The U9 boy are focusing on the big ball and put in a good training session as they prepare for the Munster U9 football blitz in Kilworth next Saturday morning.  It promises to be a great day out.

U12
Both of our U12 football teams were in action in the All County league on a foggy Sunday morning in Tramore.  It was a good morning for the Ballinacourty boys as they took advantage of the calm conditions to put in two impressive performances. The determination and competitiveness was matched by the skill level and both teams returned home with a victory.

U14
Our two U14 hurling teams were in action in the plate semi finals for their respective divisions on Saturday morning.  The division 1 team hosted Lismore and gained a hard-fought win.  The division 3 team travelled to Poleberry to play Sacred Heart and competed really well but were edged out by their city opponents.  Keep an eye out for the fixture for the division 1 plate final which will likely take place this Saturday.

Camogie News
Junior Camogie
After a long year of training, challenge matches and games, our Junior girls made the county final again this year, which is a great achievement! They were faced with a strong Clonea side who won out in the end, but all credit to this group who fought and battled right to the end…this team continues to improve, and no doubt will lift some silverware soon!

At the post-match meal, the club held a cheque donation from O Reillys Sports in return for the jerseys purchased earlier this year. In memory of Shauna McGrath and Laura Cliffe, former much-loved players, the jerseys include their names on its sleeve. The donation was shared between the McGrath and Cliffe families towards a charity of their choice, Sesame Early Intervention Services and Dungarvan Lions Club respectively.
