Camogie News
U8 and U10 Blitz
Great fun was had on the bank holiday Monday with Abbeyside camogie hosting their first blitz of the year for our U8 and U 10 age groups. We were delighted to host Roanmore, Portlaw, Lismore and Modeligo. This is always a great day, and the girls love to put their skills into action! We had a great turnout, and also used the skills of some recently qualified "Young Whistlers" Orla, Abbie and Cathal - keep up the great work!
Thanks to all of our super U8 and U10 girls for putting on such a great performance, thanks to all of the coaches for all the work that you do, and to all of our volunteers on the day without whom, it would not have been possible.
Training for these age groups and U6s continues every Friday evening at Abbeyside GAA, new members always welcome!

Congrats Sophie and Aoife
Well done to our U-16 county girls who played Clare at the weekend, and came away with a convincing win! We are so proud of Abbeyside girls Sophie and Aoife who are flying the flag high for Abbeyside!
Sophie & Aoife

Congrats Dearbhla & Sarah
Huge well done to our girls Dearbhla and Sarah who are now through to a Munster Senior Camogie Final against Cork in Thurles on 19th May. Tickets for this game are available on Ticketmaster.
Well done also to our Junior girls who had a great game against Clonea last Friday evening, they now play Ballyduff Upper at home this coming Friday evening at home, throw in 7.30, do come out and support these girls who are having a great league campaign. Well done girls.
Our U14’s had a great win last Tuesday evening against Clonea. Best of luck in your next game against Modeligo.

We wish all the girls in Garranbane School making Communion this coming Saturday all the best.
Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse
Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
Strategic Plan
Past generations have had their visions for the future of our club. These are our current aims and with these achieved we hope to hand on the club to future generations in the same healthy state it was passed onto us.
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Ireland.
