Junior B Football Munster Club
The lads travelled to Knockaderry, Limerick on Sunday to play Ballyphehane from Cork in the Munster Junior B Football competition.  The pitch and conditions in Knockaderry were brilliant thankfully. Ballinacourty fought very hard in the first half against a strong Ballyphehane team, the half time score was 1-5 to 0-4 to Ballyphehane.  In the second half we found it a big challenge playing against a first team, but the lads never threw in the towel.  The final score was 3-14 to 0-6.
We had some excellent performances on the day from Seán Kiely, Fionn Dwyer and David Hickey.  It was a brilliant experience for the team and great to expose six under 20s to that level of football outside of the county.
Thanks to our supporters and particularly to Lalu O' Connor.  Lalu organised our dressing room and booked us in for food in Adare after the game.  We had a great day out to mark the end of a successful junior football year.

Inter County
Waterford opened their league game with an away fixture to Cork on Sunday last. Conor Prunty has been appointed captain for the coming season, and we wish him and his club mates Michael Kiely and Charlie Treen the very best of luck for the coming year.

Underage
Despite some challenging weather in recent weeks (and more to come), our U12 to U16 panels have shown great commitment as they continue their training programmes. Players and coaches alike have adapted well to conditions, ensuring valuable work is being done ahead of the competitive season.  In addition, we have many players from our U14, U15 and U16 age groups returning to action with their respective county development squads, so there's a lot being done!
It was also great to see our U7 to U10 age groups kick off their season indoor in St. Augustine's College (Friary) on a wet blustery night last Friday. Very enthusiastic groups of boys from U7 to U10 had great fun running, chasing, sliding and hurling in the indoor hall.
A big ‘Thank You’ to St. Augustine's College for the use of their hall at this time of year. It is much appreciated.
Any boys interested in starting hurling or football can contact abbeycourtyjuvenilesec@gmail.com for more details.

Schools Action
Best of luck to Dungarvan CBS senior hurling team on their schools Munster final against St. Joseph’s Borrisleigh on Friday next especially our club members Coleman Radley, Sean Kiely and Sean Og O’ Regan as well as their team manager Michael Kiely.
We also wish the best of luck to the St. Augustine’s College hurlers as they take on Scoil Pól Kilfinane in Limerick on Wednesday in the TUS Corn Sheamais Mhic Ghabhann U15 Championship. It is great to see our young club members in school action building the bond between school and Club.
