Camogie Notes - 9th April

Training
Training continues on Fridays for all age groups U12 train from 6.30 to 7.30 and all other ages train from 6.30 to 7.30. As our numbers have grown in the last few weeks help is always needed if you have an hour to spare on a Friday evening please do come along.

U12
U12s traveled to Portlaw on Saturday morning to take part in their first blitz for this year we were grouped with St. Anns A & B and Portlaw. A total of 15 girls traveled on what was a very wet morning great team performance was put in by all.

U14
Our U14s play their first game of the championship on Tuesday 15th of April we play at home to An Rinn with a 7.00pm throw in we ask that you try and come and support the team on the night in their first championship game.

Camp
The County Board are running a camogie camp in Abbeyside GAA grounds for 8 to 12 yr olds from Tuesday the 15th to Thursday the 17th. This is open to all clubs and the cost is €15. Booking is essential.


Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
