Under eleven football training continues this Friday night between 6 and 7 pm. New members are always welcome and membership forms will be handed out on the night.

Underage Outdoor Hurling
The underage outdoor hurling season is nearly upon us again. The season starts on February 20th 2016 for anyone between the ages of 5 and 10. New members are always welcome and hurleys and helmets will be available on this date for new members. These sessions will be weekly on a Saturday morning between 10.30 am and 11.30. The next two Saturdays after this date which are February 27th and March 5th will be allocated as membership days where we hope to collect all the membership for the relevant age groups.

Under 10 and 13
Under 10 training will resume this Friday night, 29th January in the wall ball between the times of 7 and 8 pm. The under 13 age group were due to start on this night also but because some of the lads are receiving medals at the medal presentation the starting date for this group has been put back a week to Friday, 5th February between 8 and 9 pm. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Medal Presentation
We will hold a medal presentation this Friday night the 29th January in Ballinroad Hall at 7.30pm sharp for last year’s under 13’s, 14’s, 15’s and 16’s. All these age groups will receive medals on the night which is a great achievement for all involved. We will have two special guests on the night to present the medals and this should be a very enjoyable evening for all involved. We ask all parents could they bring along light refreshments like cakes buns etc for after the medal presentation. All within the club and of course parents and siblings are encouraged to come along to make the occasion special for the lads collecting medals.

Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse
Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
Strategic Plan
Past generations have had their visions for the future of our club. These are our current aims and with these achieved we hope to hand on the club to future generations in the same healthy state it was passed onto us.
