Western Championship Draws

The draws for the Western Hurling and Football Championships took place at this evening's Western Board Meeting.

In the Western Intermediate Football Championship, Ballinacourty will play the following:-

Round 1 - Modeligo
Round 2 - Geraldines
Round 3 - Ballyduff Upper
Round 4 - Dungarvan
Round 5 - The Nire

In the Western Junior Football Premier Championship, Ballinacourty will play the following:-

Round 1 - Old Parish
Round 2 - Colligan
Round 3 - Sliabh gCua
Round 4 - Shamrocks
Round 5 - Tallow
Round 6 - Affane
Round 7 - Lismore

In the Western U21 'A' Football Championship, Ballinacourty will play the following:-

Round 1 - The Nire

In the Western Junior 'A' Hurling Championship, Abbeyside will play the following:-

Round 1 - Kilgobnet
Round 2 - Fourmilewater
Round 3 - Tourin
Round 4 - Geraldines

In the Western Junior 'B' Hurling Championship, Abbeyside will play the following:-

Round 1 - Geraldines
Round 2 - Shamrocks
Round 3 - Ballysaggart
Round 4 - Kilrossanty
Round 5 - Modeligo

In the Western U21 'A' Hurling Championship, Abbeyside will play the following:-

Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
