In what was a very
disappointing weekend all 3 of our remaining teams made their exits from the
championship. The Junior A team went down to Brickies on Saturday afternoon,
whilst later that evening the Minors were beaten in the Co Semi Final by De La
Salle. Unfortunately, our fortunes didn’t improve on Sunday when we were
defeated by Dungarvan in the Senior Hurling Quarter Final.Obviously, all involved are bitterly disappointed, but the season is far from over as we now knuckle down to the football. On behalf of everyone we’d like to thank all involved in the hurling championships, from players to mentors and backroom staff for all their efforts.
