Club Notes - 1st September

Championship 2021
The championship action continued this week with the Junior A hurlers taking pride of place following a good victory over The Geraldines. Our minor team had a drawn game versus Portlaw/Ballyduff Lower and were on the wrong end of the result against Ballygunner last Sunday in the field. Meanwhile the Junior B team were beaten by Ballyduff in their first outing of the year.
All the above are in action again this week with the Senior hurlers also making their championship debut for the year.

The ever-popular Jack The Joker draw took place on Monday night last. Bryan Cosgrave was drawn and picked number 18. When turned this was not the Joker, but he did win €50. Shane Briggs and Deirdre Wade won €25 each. The jackpot next week will be €1,700.
