Juvenile Notes - 6th February

Harty Cup
Yet again well done to everyone involved on Dungarvan Colleges side for beating Thurles CBS in the semi final of this competition on Saturday last in Fermoy. It was brilliant to see such a great turn out of local kids and adults alike to support this team. Well done to our own club players Eamonn Crotty, Sean Daly, Conor Prunty, Laurence Power and Brian Looby. This is a brilliant achievement by these players to reach the final of this competition for the second year running and we wish them all the best in the final.

Medal Presentation
Last Friday evening we had a presentation night in St. Augustine’s College for last year’s under 14 and 13 championships winners and under 12 Town and Country League. This was a great evening for all the children involved. The Juvenile Chairman Michael Ferncombe, and the club chairman Tony Mansfield addressed the audience. Both thanked the parents, players and mentors involved with the teams and highlighted the benefit of entering two teams in last year’s championship to ensure plenty of game time to as many players as possible and help them develop their skills.
