Camogie Notes - 4th April

Sympathy
On behalf of everyone involved with the camogie club we wish to pass on our condolences to the Walsh and Enright families. To say that the community has been put into shock is an understatement. Mary will be sorely missed by anybody who ever had the pleasure of knowing her. Mollie would have had a football in her hands before she was able to walk. Ar dheis De go raibh a n-anamacha.

Training
Training continues every Friday evening from 6.30 to 7.30, new members from the age of 5 up are welcome. Hurleys and helmets can be purchased through the club at a reduced rate.

Blitz
On Saturday next, 7th April our U.12 team travel to Ballyduff Upper at 11.00 to take part in a blitz. We are meeting at the pitch at 9.45 and we ask for parents to come and support the girls. These games are geared towards the girls having fun and gaining confidence on the playing pitch.

Joker Fundraiser
Joker tickets can be purchased any week from Claire or Carmel.

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.

Strategic Plan
Past generations have had their visions for the future of our club. These are our current aims and with these achieved we hope to hand on the club to future generations in the same healthy state it was passed onto us.
