Camogie Notes - 18th April

Matches & Training
U12's are playing a blitz in Cappoquin next Saturday morning next, 21st April. Clubs taking part are Cappoquin, Ballyduff Upper, Abbeyside and Brickey Rangers. Parents are asked to meet at Abbeyside pitch at 10.15 as games start in Cappoquin at 11. There will be training for the under 12 girls on Tuesday evening at 6.30 this is an extra session in preperation for Saturdays outing. Training continues as normal for all groups next Friday evening at 6.30 to 7.30. We are holding our Registration Evening next Friday evening. If anybody is interested in coming along to join please call out to us Friday evening. Membership and Registration for the year costs only €15 for first child, then €10 for any other children in the same family. Hurleys and Helmets can be purchased at a reduced price through the club. You then pay only €2 per week at training session. If any parents wish to get involved in helping with the running of the club/training, please let us know.
Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse
Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
Strategic Plan
Past generations have had their visions for the future of our club. These are our current aims and with these achieved we hope to hand on the club to future generations in the same healthy state it was passed onto us.
