Juvenile Notes - 19th February

Under 16
Our under 16’s started off their 2014 football campaign with a trip to Cleaboy last Sunday morning. They recorded a good win 2-11 to 3-1.

Next game is at home to the Nire on Sunday 2nd March.

Under 14
Our under 14 start off this Wednesday 19th  V St. Oliver’s in Aglish and at home to An Ghaeltacht Sunday morning next the 23rd. The Under 13’s Football starts Sunday 2nd March.
Indoor Hurling
Our indoor hurling for the juvenile hurlers continues again on this Friday night coming the 21st February at the Friary College. The under 5, 6 and 7 groups will between the times of six to quarter to seven and the under 8 group will between the times of quarter to seven and half past seven. All are welcome. Helmets are compulsory and will be available over the next few weeks. To help cover costs a €2 fee will apply. Membership forms will also be given out to parents of players who have not received them yet and also collected off those who have.

Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse
Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
Strategic Plan
Past generations have had their visions for the future of our club. These are our current aims and with these achieved we hope to hand on the club to future generations in the same healthy state it was passed onto us.
