Camogie Notes - 2nd May

Training
Training continues on a Tuesday evening from 6.30 to 7.30 for all U12's. Training continues for all age groups on a Friday evening from 6.30 to 7.30. New members are always welcome, just come along on the night or all contact details are available on the Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club website.

Holy Communion
This week we would like to wish all our girls who are receiving Holy Communion over the coming weeks all the best from the Club on their big day.

Bag Pack
We are holding our annual bag pack in Garveys Supervalu this coming Friday 4th and Saturday 5th May. Bag packers are needed for 2 hour slots if anybody is available please contact Claire on 0877449964.

Blitz
On Saturday next 5th May our U8 and U10 teams are travelling to Ring to take part in their first Blitz of the year. On the day they will play games against Clashmore, Dungarvan and The Brickey Rangers. Parents are asked to be at the Abbeyside Club grounds at 10.15 as games start in Ring at 11. A good morning will be had by all involved.

Joker Tickets
Joker tickets can be purchased any night at training from either Carmel or Claire. Work being done is evident at the Clubhouse and Club grounds.
Club History
Abbeyside / Ballinacourty GAA Club was formed in 1967 as a result of the amalgamation of Abbeyside Hurling and Football Clubs and Ballinacourty Football Club. It is situated within the Parish of Abbeyside, Ballinroad and Garranbane. Located on the eastern side of the River Colligan, it forms the northern and eastern shorelines of Dungarvan Harbour from Abbeyside Church to Ballinacourty Lighthouse

Development Fund
Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club has been growing at a dramatic pace over the past 10 years with the population of our parish increasing rapidly. We must ensure that we have the best facilities for all our players. We want to ensure that the next generation have the facilities that they need and deserve. We are asking supporters and friends to support this project over the next five years.
