On
Sunday we competed in the Under 13 Football western semi finals in Division 1
& 3. We played St. Pats in Abbeyside, this was a tough competitive affair
with scores scarce in the first half, and had a 6 point lead at half time. In the second half we played better and came
away with a win, with a score line of 2-10 to 0-5. Our second team travelled to
Ardmore later that morning. Our lads started
well and the teams were evenly match of the first 15 mins, after this Adrmore
scored a few quick goals and from the point were always in control, our boys
battled to the end but it was the home team record a deserved win.
We
would like to thank Ardmore and Board na Og for allowing the game to re-scheduled to 1:30 to allow mentors and family to attend both games. We would
also like to thank the families that changed their weekend plans to allow their
sons play.
