This was played in the Gold Coast as our pitch was closed for sanding. The team hurled well through out to record a 2-11 to 1-1 win. In the second half we had a better performance but could not peg the home team and were defeated 6-7 to 5-2. While back in Abbeyside the Div 1 team started very slowly also and were well behind at half 0-3 to 2-6. In the second half we played much better and started to notch up the scores. This was a battle to the end and we just snatched it 4-8 to 4-7. We are now through to the western Final here against Lismore on Saturday 26th.
